My name is Cynthia Avery, and I'm from Sussex County New Jersey. I became a Beatles fan, when I saw them on T.V. on the Ed Sullivan Show for the first time at the age of 13. After watching all three of the Ed Sullivan shows, I was a real Beatlemanic, as we were called back then. Soon I was buying Beatles magazines, records and those packs of bubble gum with the Beatles cards. My room, on one side was totally covered with their pictures. My favorite Beatle was Paul and is still my favorite artist. My first record was I Want To Hold You Hand on 45, soon followed by the Beatles first LP, here in the states, Meet The Beatles. I never had a chance to see the Beatles in concert, but since then have seen Paul twice and Ringo three times in concert.

One of my favorite Beatles songs has to be I want To Hold Your Hand, because it was the first one I had bought and now brings back such wonderful memories.
